چکیده
A perspective of the Green's function in a boundary value problem as only eigenstate an auxiliary formulation is introduced. In this treatment, can be perceived defect state presence $\ensuremath{\delta}$-function potential, height which depends on itself. This approach illustrated one-dimensional and two-dimensional Helmholtz equation problems, with emphasis systems that are open have non-Hermitian potential. We then draw analogy between obtained way chiral edge circumventing topological lattice, shines light local minimum at source position.

Stochastics as a Dirac Boundary - Value Problem
We prove that a single-jump quantum stochastic unitary evolution is equivalent to a Dirac boundary value problem on the half line in one extra dimension. It is shown that this exactly solvable model can be obtained from a Schrödinger boundary value problem for a positive relativistic Hamiltonian in the half-line as the inductive ultrarelativistic limit, correspondent to the input flow of Dirac ...

This paper presents conditions for the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions for a boundary value problem of a nonlinear fractional differential equation. We show that it has at least one or two positive solutions. The main tool is Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem on cone and fixed point index theory.
متن کاملMIXED BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR A QUARTER-PLANE WITH A ROBIN CONDITION
We consider a mixed boundary value problem for a quarter-plane with a Robin condition on one edge. We have developed two procedures, one based on the advanced theory of dual integral equations and the other, in our opinion simpler technique, relying on conformal mapping. Both of the procedures are of interest, because the former may be easier to adapt to other boundary value problems.
متن کاملA periodic boundary value problem with vanishing Green's function
In this work, the authors consider the boundary value problem { y + a(t)y = g(t) f (y), 0 ≤ t ≤ 2π, y(0) = y(2π), y(0) = y(2π), and establish the existence of nonnegative solutions in the case where the associated Green’s function may have zeros. The results are illustrated with an example. c © 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
